Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of truehomeremodel.com (the “Site”) and the referral and consultation-booking service (the “Service”) operated by JOB DEVELOPMENT LLC (doing business as “True Home Remodel”, “we”, “us”), 614 West Park Avenue, Oakhurst, NJ 07755. By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is — and is not

True Home Remodel is a referral and appointment-booking service. We connect homeowners with independent, licensed remodeling contractors (“Contractor Partners”) and book free consultations on their behalf.

2. Free service to homeowners

The Service is free for homeowners. We may be compensated by Contractor Partners for referrals and booked appointments. This compensation does not change the price a contractor quotes you.

3. Your requests and communications

When you submit a request, you represent that the information is accurate, that you are 18 or older, and that you are the owner of the property (or authorized to request work on it). You authorize us to contact you about your request by phone and email, and — if you check the SMS consent box — by text message under our SMS Terms. SMS consent is not a condition of using the Service.

4. Contractor Partners

We take reasonable steps to confirm that Contractor Partners hold an active state contractor's license and insurance at the time they join our network, and we periodically re-verify. However, we do not guarantee any contractor's performance, pricing, schedule, or work quality. You are responsible for your own due diligence — verifying licenses (for example, via the California CSLB license lookup), checking references, and reviewing any contract before signing.

5. Estimates and project outcomes

Cost ranges, timelines, and other figures on the Site are editorial estimates for orientation only; they are not offers or quotes. Only a written estimate or contract from a licensed contractor is binding on that contractor. Remodeling projects involve inherent uncertainty (site conditions, permits, materials); we are not responsible for changes in scope, price, or schedule.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization;
• Use the Site for scraping, spamming, or any unlawful purpose;
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Site.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, and branding, is owned by JOB DEVELOPMENT LLC or its licensors and protected by law. You may not reproduce or exploit Site content without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CONTRACTOR WILL ACCEPT YOUR PROJECT OR THAT ANY WORK WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOB DEVELOPMENT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM WORK PERFORMED BY, OR ANY CONTRACT WITH, A CONTRACTOR PARTNER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOB DEVELOPMENT LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any contractor.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute shall be the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page with its “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
